Lenten Friday Fish Dinners Available at These Locations

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – With Mar. 4 being the first Friday of lent, a number of churches and businesses will be serving fish starting this Friday.

The following are churches in San Angelo serving fish on Friday, Mar. 4, 2022:

  • Holy Angels Catholic Church, located at 2309 S. A&M Ave. will be having a fish fry from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Plates are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.
  • St. Margarets Catholic Church, located at 2619 Era St., will be having a fish fry from 4:50 p.m. until sold out. Plates are $10.
  • St. Marys Catholic Church, located at 7 W. Ave. N, will be having a fish fry from 5 p..m. to 8 p.m. Plates are $8.

The following are top restaurants in San Angelo that specialize in fish:

  • Catfish Corner, located at 1313 W. Beauregard, is open from 11 a.m to 9 p.m.
  • Packsaddle BBQ, located at 6007 Knickerbocker Rd., is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. 
  • The Crab, located at 3035 Knickerbocker Rd., is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • The Craving Crab, located at 4509 Sherwood Way, is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
  • Long John Silver's, located at 3121 Sherwood Way, is open from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. 
  • Nakamura Sushi House, located at 3222 Sherwood Way, is open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. 
  • Red Lobster, located at 3909 Sunset Dr., is open from 11:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • The Wharf Restaurant, located at 2302 W Loop 306, is open from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
