TxDOT: More Construction Affecting Traffic on the Bell St. Bridge

SAN ANGELO – Traffic on the Bell St. bridge over Loop 306 will be reduced to one lane in each direction for additional construction beginning today.  

According to TxDOT,  the Bell St. Bridge  will be closed to traffic starting today - Tuesday, Feb. 22 as our crews work on leveling out the road surface at the intersections on either side of the bridge. The right lane of the frontage roads on either side of the bridge will be open to traffic.

Bell St. has been under construction for many months and has also been damaged in two separate crashes over the last two years.
