No Trash Pickup Thursday Due to Icy Conditions

SAN ANGELO, TX — According to the City of San Angelo, Republic Services canceled all trash-related services for Thursday, Feb. 3, due to icy road conditions.

The City spokesman said Republic will monitor the weather for a possible Friday service. Residents are encouraged to keep their carts at the curb and not move them up so that Republic has access to the carts on any makeup days.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the entire Concho Valley with forecasts of rain, freezing rain, sleet and possibly snow through 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 3 (the forecast is as of 10:30 p.m. Wednesday night).
