San Angelo – In an effort to provide holiday meals for residents of the Concho Valley, the Concho Valley Regional Food Bank is looking for volunteers who can help those who find themselves in need during the holiday season.
The Concho Valley Regional Food Bank is endeavoring to fill 1,040 boxes with non-perishable Thanksgiving staples to be distributed to agency partners, who will in turn distribute to clients throughout November.
Volunteers are needed to help the CVRFB fill all the boxes – beginning Tuesday, September 14 and continuing through Thursday, October 7, 2021.
There will be opportunities to volunteer each Tuesday and Thursday afternoon at the food bank.
A sign-up has been created and is available here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C…
If the boxes are not all filled by October 7, more dates will be added.
There is one Saturday scheduled for volunteers thus far, October 2 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Call Susan Gober at the food bank if you have any questions, or are not able to sign-up via the internet, 325-655-3231.
