Fairmount Cemetery to Undergo Cleaning Next Week

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Next week the staff at Fairmount Cemetery will be undertaking cleaning of the burial grounds on Thursday, July 15th.

According to officials, staff will be removing flowers and other items from graves so the property can be cleaned and trimmed.

Family members who wish to preserve the items should remove them from gravesites before the end of the day this Friday, July 9.

Items left at gravesites will be picked up and held for one week for family members to pick up. Any unclaimed items will be disposed of Thursday, July 22.

On July 30th, the items can be returned to the grounds.

Lot owners are reminded that flowers should be placed only to the sides or in cradles on top of monuments. This allows for the maintenance of gravesites.
