San Angelo Senior Centers Re-Open With Normal Hours

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The two senior centers located in San Angelo will resume regular operating hours starting next Monday.

Station 618 -- located at 702 S. Chadbourne St.-- will be open during the weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. While Santa Fe Crossing -- located at 618 S. Chadbourne St. -- will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The nutrition program at Santa Fe Crossing will be held from 11:00 a.m.to 12:30 p.m.

"The staff at the senior centers encourages participants to take their own precautions when coming back as we continue to live through this pandemic," said the City of San Angelo in a statement. "Face masks are recommended at the centers; if you have decided to get the COVID-19 vaccine, then CDC guidelines explain more of what you can do to help resume the way you did prior to the pandemic."

Both centers will provide hand sanitizer throughout the facilities and disinfectant to double clean equipment and supplies.

At this time not all activities or special events that were offered in the past will be available this year.

Class schedules can be found at cosatx.us/seniors or at either of the senior centers.

Interested patrons can visit either center to pick up a schedule. Any questions can also be answered by calling 325-657-4484.
