TGCSO Announces Speaker for Monday's Flag Raising Ceremony

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Monday is the start of police week and a memorial flag raising ceremony will be held at the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office. 

According to the TGCSO, on May 10, Texas DPS Regional Director Orlando Alanis will speak at the flag raising ceremony.

Director Alanis is one of seven (7) Regional Directors of the Texas Department of Public Safety.  As the Regional Director for the West Texas Region, Alanis is responsible for all DPS related activity, personnel and response in 36 west Texas counties.   

The flag raising ceremony will include city, county, and state peace officers and is scheduled to be conducted on the east parking lot of the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office, 222 W. Harris, San Angelo, Texas starting at 10 a.m.

The public is invited to attend and show their support.
