WATCH: Plaza Del Sol Senior Residents Desperate for Temporary Housing

SAN ANGELO, TX – The senior citizens who reside at Plaza Del Sol in southwest San Angelo are facing a serious housing issue.

Residents have been temporarily displaced because of extensive water damage according to officials with the city of San Angelo. Work crews can be observed working at the complex.

According to officials, the residents will be displaced for approximately six months.

This has led officials to request landlords with available units to make them available for the displaced senior residents.

The apartment units are subsidized by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and serve low-income senior citizens.

The resident’s rent and HUD funding could cover up to $762 per month in rent.

Interested landlords are asked to contact Prak Property Management at 830-372-2600 or [email protected].
