Abilene Woman Freezes to Death in Her Backyard

ABILENE, TX -- The Abilene Fire Department has confirmed yet another weather-related death.

According to Abilene Fire Chief Cande Flores, the victim was an elderly female. 

The woman walked out of her home and she was later found in her backyard deceased. According to officials, her death was directly related to the inclement weather conditions.

The woman is the fourth victim this week to die as a result of the cold.
