SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Animal Shelter has announced it will be implementing new policies due to COVID-19.
Beginning Monday, new quarantining protocols and procedures will go into effect.
The temporary policies will be followed:
- Shelter will no longer be taking in cats during this time (except sick, injured, neonatal)
- Shelter will only accept dogs from 1 p.m.-6 p.m.
- Field services are only responding to emergency calls which include: bite investigations, cruelty investigations, aggressive dog at large, estray livestock
The shelter will notify the public once the shelter operations return to normal.
