SAN ANGELO, TX -- After the tragic passing of the CEO and founder of Conexión San Angelo, Gregorio Gutierrez, the bilingual publication has announced Araceli Gutierrez will step up to be the new CEO.
Mrs. Gutierrrez has served as the publication's vice president since 2002. She worked alongside her husband Mr.Gutierrez for nearly two decades.
"Many women today are not only wives and mothers who are the heart of the home. But also have entered the professional world who can also run a business.”

“I would want him to be proud of my carrying on his legacy.”
Mrs. Gutierrez is focused on carrying on her husband's"
strong Christian faith" and his advocacy for education.
"He was all for education," said Gutierrez. "He wanted to make sure every child received one.”
The new CEO says the company also plans to renew its annual Christmas Posada this year.
The event has been held for 19 consecutive years and will hopefully take place again in 2021.
"God willing, we plan to have a posada in memory of Gregorio,“ said Gutierrez. "We hope to make it one of our biggest events.”
