SAN ANGELO, TX – The Tom Green County Sheriff's Office is congratulating William "Bill" Kirkland on his recent promotion from Sheriff's Deputy to a Patrol Sergeant.
Sergeant Kirkland has been employed with the Tom Green County since July of 2019, and has previously served 11 years with the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office and Lake County Sheriff's Office in Colorado.

Additionally, Sergeant Kirkland competed against several prominent applicants during the Tom Green County Sheriff's Office recent promotional process.
At this time Sergeant Kirkland will now be taking command of the agencies Delta shift.
