Add Another Hour to 2020 This Weekend

SAN ANGELO, TX – Be ready to fall back into regular time on Halloween weekend thanks to daylight saving time coming to an end.

This year daylight saving comes to an end on Nov.1 at 2 a.m.

This means the when the clock strikes 2 a.m. it will be 1 a.m. again.

Daylight saving time began this year on Mar. 8. Here is a video produced San Angelo LIVE! regarding Daylight saving time featuring owner of San Angelo's Heritage House

Daylight saving time was started in the United States during the first World War but was stopped when the war ended. The same thing happened during World War Two.

Then on January 4, 1974, President Nixon signed into law the Emergency Daylight Saving Time Energy Conservation Act of 1973. Americans, besides those who live in Arizona and Hawaii, have participated in Daylight Saving time.
