Here's Why the Dog Park is Closing

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The only dog park in San Angelo will be closed beginning Thursday Oct. 15, 2020. 

According to information from the city, the dog park will be closed for two weeks for turf seeding. 

Here is the statement from the city: 

"Beginning Thursday, October 15, the dog park will be temporarily closed for at least two weeks for turf seeding and renovation by the parks department. The park is located at 3215 Millbrook Drive."

The dog park opened in Oct. 2017 and has a pen for small dogs and a pen for large dogs.
