Concho Valley Regional Food Bank Earns $10,000 Award

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Thanks to the communities’ support on social media the Concho Valley Regional Food Bank was officially awarded a $10,000 donation from USI Southwest Insurance Services in San Angelo.

The food bank had been originally awarded $5,000 for the Concho Valley Regional Food Bank through a submission process.

Then the Liberty Mutual® and Safeco Insurance® offered Ken Roberts, an agent at USI Insurance Services, an additional chance to raise even more funds through social media support via the official Make More Happen microsite www.AgentGiving.com. 

Together, they were able to raise an additional $5,000 by having their story shared at least 500 times over the course of a week to total the donation to $10,000. 

The $10,000 award will fund approximately 80,000 meals to the hungry children and families in the Concho Valley area served by the Concho Valley Regional Food Bank.
