COSA: Boil Notice Rescinded After Water Main Break Is Repaired

SAN ANGELO, TX -- On Tuesday, September 8, 2020, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the City of San Angelo public water system to issue a Boil Water Notice.

The water main break that occurred earlier in the day led to the notice requiring the water in certain areas of this public water system to be boiled before using for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling before use as of September 9, 2020, 11:00 am.
