SAPD Reminds Citizens of US Census

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – The San Angelo Police Department issued a notice on Wednesday reminding citizens of ongoing 2020 Census. 

The following is a press release from the San Angelo Police Department on Wednesday, August 26: 

In an effort to meet the constitutional and legislative requirements to count the U.S. population during the 2020 Decennial Census, Field Data Collection Operations are taking place in our community. 

During these Field Data Collection Operations, Census Bureau staff will be knocking on doors and making contact with residents in an effort to complete their 2020 Census Questionnaire. 

2020 Census Field Data Collection Operations will end by September 30, 2020. 

Census workers will be out and about knocking on doors and field staff can be identified by their Census Photo Identification and one or more of the following items: laptop computer with a Census Bureau logo, iPad with a Census Bureau logo, iPhone with a Census Bureau logo, and a black canvass bag with a Census logo.
