Happy Mother's Day, Mama

SAN ANGELO, TX – "All that I am or hope to be, I owe to my mother."

In our home, my mom is the ref in charge of keeping 4 loud, talkative, and willful kids in check to make sure we survive each other, but she's also so much more.

She's the reason we try our best every day to be the decent human beings she created us to be.

She's the force that every day pushes us to be better and follow our dreams.

She's the hug we need after a long day and the shoulder to cry on when life gets a little overwhelming.

She's our biggest teacher when its time to face adversity and hard moments in life.

She's the mom who doesn't speak English and yet has celebrated three college graduations in four years.

She's our example of what it means to be strong when there is nothing else you can be.

She's our best cheerleader and number one fan.

She's the smile we look for in a crowd and the laughter we always want to hear.

She's the one that is always there, no matter what.

So this Mother's Day all we can say is thank you, Mama. Thank you for every hug, every kiss, and every ounce of love you've poured into your children.
