WATCH: Parts of San Angelo Experiencing Power Outage

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Numerous parts of San Angelo are reporting current power outages. The affected area seems to cover central San Angelo, Angelo State University, parts of College Hills, and up into the Bentwood area. AEP is aware of the outages as crews are working to correct the issue. This is a developing story. 

UPDATE: AEP reports approximately 8,800 without power. 

AEP crews and San Angelo Firefighters responded to a series of fires on Old Knickerbocker Rd. and Gunter St.

According to workers at the scene by Bubba's Smokehouse, a power line was down and sparked the fires.

Power is gradually being restored.
