Benefit Held For 14-Year-old Shot Inside His San Angelo Home

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – After suffering two gunshot wounds on January 6, Elijah Dunson’s family and friends came together to host a benefit to help support his family during this difficult time. The fourteen-year-old is expected to make a full recovery, but he remains hospitalized according to the flier.

On Saturday, January 25, from 11 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. food plates were sold at the Park Plaza Nursing and Rehab (2210 North Howard St.). The meal included pulled pork, sandwiches, chips and a drink. Since the shooting two suspects have been arrested, one is 14-years-old and the other is 16-years-old. No further information has been made available regarding the case, but according to authorities the suspects broke into the Elijah’s home and shot him.
