Prayer Vigil to Be Held on the Anniversary of Roe vs Wade

SAN ANGELO, TX – The Concho Valley Defenders of Life will be hosting a Silent and Peaceful Prayer Vigil Wednesday, Jan. 22 as the historic Roe vs Wade abortion verdict that has been at the center of a national debate for decades reaches it 47-year anniversary.

Concho Valley Defenders of Life invites the community to join them for a time of silent prayer and reflection. Members of all faiths are invited to pray for “all those who have been hurt and who need healing from a past abortion.”

The event is a peaceful gathering that invites all members of the community to stay for as long as they can and “remember the almost 62 million unborn babies that have been aborted in the United States since January 22, 1973.”

The group will meet at the Tom Green Courthouse (122 W. Harris Ave) from 12 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.

If community members cannot attend, they are encouraged to join in a few moments of silent prayers for those intentions wherever they may be.
