Gas Line Break Closes Part of E. 29th Street

SAN ANGELO, TX — A gas line leak caused by a line cut happened near the 400 block of E. 29th St. at approximately 4 p.m. today.

Police have blocked the 400 to 600 block of E. 29th St. until the leak is repaired.

When we were there at 5:15 p.m. Atmos Energy line crews had not yet arrived, but were en route. Estimates given at the scene were that the street will be blocked until at least 7 p.m. Thursday.
