Don't be Scared, Angelo State to Explode Fireworks Over San Angelo Saturday

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Angelo State University is planning a fireworks show at the conclusion of the Rams football game Saturday, Sept. 29. Also during the game, the Fort Concho Artillery will fire a cannon each time the Rams score. The game begins at 6 p.m. at LeGrand Stadium at 1st Community Credit Union Field, 2302 Phil George Dr., and will end at approximately 9 p.m.

Residents in the surrounding area may hear loud popping and blasts during the game and as fireworks commence. The area to the east behind the stadium will be blocked off to traffic, pedestrians and parking.

For concerns during the event, the public is advised to contact the Angelo State University Police Department at 325-942-2071.
