City to honor 2,715 years of service

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- (Press Release) The public service of 205 City of San Angelo employees with a combined 2,715 years of experience will be honored at the annual employee appreciation luncheon Monday.

During the event at the McNease Convention Center, City offices, including the water billing office, will be closed from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Employees who in the past year have completed milestone anniversaries with the City will receive service awards. Two of those employees have 35 years of service with the City, 11 have worked for the City for 30 years, 18 have served for 25 years, and 28 have two decades of experience. Another 26 employees have logged 15 years, 63 are celebrating 10 years of service, and 59 joined the City five years ago.

In years past, employees celebrating milestone anniversaries with the City received their awards at a separate celebration. This year, the honorees will receive their awards during the annual employee appreciation luncheon, which celebrates the hard work and loyalty of all of the City’s approximately 900 employees.
