Coffee with a Cop on National Police Memorial Day

SAN ANGELO, TX —Today is National Police Memorial Day and San Angelo Police Department’s Coffee with a Cop kicked off this morning for people to come and have a casual fun time with officers.

Coffee with a Cop was a chance for anyone and everyone to come get some delicious coffee and donuts while mingling with the law enforcement officers who protect our city every day.

The donuts that were served were from Jack and Jill and the coffee was from Longhorn Coffee Company.

Coffee with a Cop is a part of National Police Week. A week were we stop and appreciate the fight that law enforcement officers fight every day to protect their cities.

Today, May 15, is National Police Memorial Day and this day was established in remembrance for those officers who have lost their lives protecting and serving their communities.

Crime Stoppers’ Annual Running with the Blue event will be held Wednesday at Police Headquarters at 6:30 p.m. The event includes a 5K run or a 1-mile run/walk. All ages are welcome.
