Ram Truck Bursts into Flames Near Concho River

SAN ANGELO, TX — A red Ram 1500 pickup went up in flames next to the Concho River near the Chadbourne St. bridge Sunday. Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze without incident, but the truck was a total loss, Fire Marshal Ross Coleman said.

The fire originated in the truck’s cab while the driver and occupants were away from the truck. “They looked over at the truck and it was ablaze,” Coleman said.
