Early Morning Porch Fire on Murphy Street

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — Around 4:00 a.m. this morning, San Angelo Fire Department responded to a porch fire on the 900 block of Murphy Street.

Upon arrival, the front porch was engulfed in flames and the flames were spreading to the front of the home. Fast response and team work got the fire out quickly with some damage on the front of the home.

Kim Ingram, a Fire Investigator with the SAFD, is still investigating the cause of the fire.

The home was occupied by one family at the time but everyone made it out of the home and no injuries were reported.

It is unknown if the home is a loss or if it can be salvaged.
