Red Flag Warning Issued Due to Critical Fire Weather Conditions

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A Red Flag Warning has been issued for the San Angelo area for critical fire weather conditions.

The Red Flag Warning was issued west of an Abilene to San Angelo to Ozona line from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. today.

South winds of 20 to 25 mph with higher wind gusts and relative humidity falling to 10 to 15%.

A few fire prevention tips are; avoid outdoor welding, check trailer chains, don’t park vehicles on grass, and avoid outdoor burning.
