Windy Weather Puts Concho Valley Under Red Flag Warning

SAN ANGELO, TX-- The National Weather Service has put the entire Concho Valley under a Red Flag warning until 10 p.m. Friday night.

This warning comes just ahead of weather bringing sustained winds of 30-35 miles per hour with gusts of 45-50 mph. The relative humidity will also drop as low as five percent.

The Red Flag warning means residents need to avoid outdoor welding and burning, parking vehicles on grass as well as checking trailer chains if you're traveling.

The National Weather Service says any fires would spread rapidly in this weather.
