Dangerous Lightning and Hail Possible After Midnight

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The National Weather Service is predicting some hail and lightning with thunderstorms after midnight in the Concho Valley.  

According to the NWS, there is a chance for thunderstorms after midnight, mainly south of Interstate 20. Some of the storms could become strong. The main hazards will be hail, and dangerous cloud to ground lightning.

The forecast calls for patchy fog after midnight. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 57. South wind 5 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.

Tuesday morning Tom Green County Commissioners declined to reinstate the ban on outdoor burning in the county after the rainfall over the weekend.
