City to Hold Food Truck Forum

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- (COSA Press Release) The City of San Angelo is hosting a public forum Tuesday, Jan. 30, to answer questions and gather input about the spread of food trucks in the community.

The gathering will be at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council chambers at the McNease Convention Center, 501 Rio Concho Road. The public is invited to attend and participate.

Officials from the City’s Health Services, Planning and Development Services, Police, and Parks and Recreation departments will be on hand to answer questions and hear comments related to the trucks and their operation.

Topics to be discussed at the forum will include:

  • Permit requirements.
  • Food truck events.
  • Ordinances regulating food truck operations.
  • How zoning affects where and how food trucks may operate.

 

The forum will be broadcast live on SATV, Suddenlink channel 17, and on the City of San Angelo-Public Information Facebook page. Afterward, it will be posted on the City’s YouTube channel and will re-air daily on SATV.

This is what happens when a town as small as San Angelo gets too big for it's britches. The event is a joke to be honest the food at the fair is better and more abundant at that.

I know that statement is difficult to understand, but if you had been there, you might understand.
