SAN ANGELO, TX -- San Angelo Street and Bridge crews have parts of Johnson St. down to one lane in each direction today.
According to information from the city, crews are testing the road bed in several locations in anticipation of major street reconstruction projects. Those projects were discussed at Tuesday’s city council meeting.
The city is in the process of issuing $16.7 million in debt for the next phase of road reconstruction.
