SAN ANGELO, TX — "The National Day of Racial Healing" will be held Jan. 18, at 6:30 p.m., at the San Angelo Ministerial Alliance, 1100 Martin Luther King Drive.
Members of the San Angelo Ministerial Alliance and A Yellow Rose Event, will join together in a free community forum, to begin this important discussion.
This first session will focus on the "Changing Face of the African American Family", and is planned as a "family meeting", to openly discuss concerns and solutions, to guide us to the place of healing, first in our families.
Plans are to host periodic discussions which will help to improve the lives of local residents, and provide an opportunity to generate racial healing through conversations, and community action.
