TxDOT Working on Minor Upgrades Along U.S. 87 North This Week

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — For the week before the New Year, Texas Department of Transportation will be busy improving or repairing the following roadways in the San Angelo region:

U.S. 87 northbound lanes from 33rd St. in San Angelo to 9.8 miles south of the Coke County line, a TxDOT contractor is repaving lanes, weather permitting.

U.S. 87 north at Bald Creek Bridge, TxDOT is upgrading the bridge’s railing. Expect lane closures this week there.

U.S. 87 in Tom Green, Sterling and Concho Counties and along SH 158. TxDOT is repairing the metal beam guard fencing.

U.S. 67 Sherwood Way at FM 2288. TxDOT is working on rip rap ditch lines and cleaning up the project.

Elsewhere in Tom Green County, TxDOT is working on debris removal and sign maintenance at various locations.
