Rain/Snow Mix Chances Greater in Western Counties

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Weather forecasters are predicting the rain/snow mix to increase across the Concho Valley this afternoon and tonight.  

According to the National Weather Service, “A mixture of rain and snow is expected to develop this afternoon and continue through tonight across a large part of West Central Texas.

Areas along and west of a line from Mertzon to Eldorado to Sonora could receive at least an inch of snow. Western Crockett County could receive 1 to 2 inches with higher totals possible.
The rest of the area may receive a dusting of snow.

The main impacts will be slick roads, including bridges and overpasses along Interstate 10. Keep up with the latest weather information on this evolving winter weather event.”
