SAN ANGELO, TX – (From ASUPD press release) University Police have received numerous complaints regarding traffic on S. Van Buren, from Vanderventer Ave to the Texan Hall circle drive. The complaints are speeding vehicles and drivers failing to yield the right-of-way to pedestrians in the crosswalks at Plaza Verde and the Massie Halls.
University Police officers will be conducting enhanced directed enforcement in this area. Drivers are reminded they must yield the right-of-way to pedestrians and texting and driving is prohibited. Violators are subject to being cited for any such violations. Please be watchful when driving through this area and help us keep everyone safe.
