San Angelo Chamber's Business Expo Set to Open Wednesday

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — The 26th Business Expo & Career Connection is Wednesday, Sept. 27 from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. ending with the monthly Business Happy Hour from 5 until 6:30 p.m. at the McNease Convention Center, 501 Rio Grande Drive.  The Career Connection is partnered with the Concho Valley Workforce Development Board as well as the Education Services Region 15.

"The event will host 300 8th grade students who will have the opportunity to discuss career paths with vendors, first responders and the military.  The participating students will learn about different career paths here in the Concho Valley," said Laura Lewis, Vice President at the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce.  At 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. the public and exhibitors can enjoy a motivational speaker who will present on location.  During the day, vendors will also participate in business-to-business, business-to-customer and business-to-future-workforce networking.

About 80 local businesses will exhibit at the annual expo. At 5 p.m., all San Angelo Chamber of Commerce members are invited to the monthly Business Happy Hour at the Business Expo & Career Connection.
