City of San Angelo Releases Labor Day Hours for Popular San Angelo Park

SAN ANGELO, TX-- The Bosque Park downtown has become a popular attraction to residents and visitors of San Angelo. Ahead of the three-day weekend, the City of San Angelo released holiday hours for the downtown park.

The Bosque's concession stand, The Grove, will be open from noon-9 p.m. Saturday2 p.m.-8 p.m. Sunday and noon-8 p.m. on Labor Day. The games court area is at 330 S. Irving St. along the Concho River. Even when The Grove is closed, The Bosque is open to the public daily, and people may bring their own equipment (washers, volleyballs, bocce balls, putters and golf balls) to use at The Bosque.

The Bosque includes washer-pitching pits, over-sized chess, putt-putt golf, paddleboats, sand volleyball, bocce ball and concessions. The Grove accepts cash only for game pieces and refreshments.

Should there be inclement weather (high wind, rain, etc.), The Bosque will shut down. Check the City of San Angelo-Public Information Facebook page or the City of San Angelo Twitter feed for details.
