There’s No Such Thing As Too Much Bacon

SAN ANGELO, TX -- You might not think bacon and jerky go together, but for meat lovers, bacon goes with anything. 

Today is National Jerky Day and to celebrate the smoked dried meat treats, the Beef Jerky Outlet is adding bacon to the mix.  

Beef Jerky Outlet store manager Greg Hatfield says the company has released bacon jerky to coincide with National Jerky Day.  “Our Applewood smoked bacon jerky was released for National Jerky Day.  We have 3 packages for $25 all week long leading up to Father’s Day.”  Hatfield says the bacon jerky is made of 100 percent pure smoked bacon. 

Hatfield added that  the company's motto for Applewood smoked bacon is, “There’s no such thing as too much bacon.”

The Beef Jerky Outlet has a variety of smoked and dried jerky including venison, alligator and other exotic meats.  The store also has t-shirts, dried veggies, and other items including bacon flavored dips and jellies. 

The Beef Jerky Outlet is located at 4521 Sherwood Way in San Angelo behind Outback Steakhouse.  Store hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily. Bacon Mania will run through Father’s Day, June 18.
