SAN ANGELO, TEXAS -- The House of Faith's Annual Sports Camp invites students 4th-6th grade to participate in various sport activities at Lake View High School's athletic facilities June 6 - 8.
Participants can pick between football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, or tennis, a House of Faith press release stated.
Students will learn skills and drills from San Angelo ISD coaches and other volunteers who will help them prepare and participate in sports as they grow older.
Over 200 students are registered for the Sports Camp this year.
The following is a daily schedule the kids will follow:
- Pick up Campers: 12:20 - 12:40 p.m.
- Campers meet in huddle groups after registration: 1:00 -1:10 p.m.
- Camp Begins: Skills and Drills: 1:15 - 4:00 p.m.
- Devotional/huddle time : 4:00 - 4:40 p.m.
- All campers meet in the LV Turf room: 4:40 - 4:50 p.m.
- Dismiss snack and leave: 4:50 - 5:00
On Thursday afternoon, all campers will meet in the Turf Room at Lake View for camp wrap-up and a group picture at 4:10 p.m
Basketball will be taught at Lincoln Middle School's gym. All other sports will be at Lake View.

- Football - Terrell Lee
- Soccer - John Webber
- Tennis - Lake View senior tennis players
- Volleyball - Tabitha Farmer
- Basketball - Jason Gonzales
The camp is a free event and each participant will receive a House of Faith Sports Camp t-shirt and new sports ball or racquet. These gifts are made possible by a grant from the The Art and Eva Camunez Tucker Foundation.
In addition to the camp, a family celebration dinner will be held on June 8 at 6 p.m. The dinner is free and will be held at the gym of First Baptist Church on Harris Ave. It is a festive event, and a great time for House of Faith staff and volunteers to get to know the families of the kids they taught. Students will also be recognized at the dinner for their accomplishments during the camp. '
