SAN ANGELO, TX – As the Department of Transportation proposes an upgrade of US 67, TxDOT will hosting a public meeting to discuss the details of the project. Citizens who are interested can attend the meeting on Feb 9 at 5:30 p.m. at the Kevin J. Barry Conference Hall at the West Texas Training Center.
The proposed project, which would be the upgrade of 1.4 miles of the Loop 306 north of US 277 and the access roads along US 67 highway in that area, is meant to help reduce the congestion of that area and make it safer for all travelers.
The project would create grade separation on US 67 at Paul Ann and Tractor Trail, have continued access from the Loop to US 277 and depressed median between the north and south bound traffic.
The meeting is open to anyone interested in attending, and the proposed design and layout of the project for will be available for viewing.
