SAPD Releases Previously Withheld Info On Multiple Meth Arrests

 

SAN ANGELO, TX- This afternoon, San Angelo Police Department released information on arrests involving meth, from Dec 30. to Jan. 7, previously withheld due to ongoing investigations. Here is a listing of the more detailed arrests.

Dec. 30, 2016

Christopher Hall, 32, and Henry Valverde, 23, were arrested during a traffic stop for possession of meth less than one gram at N. Koenigheim and W. Harris. Valverde was also charged with outstanding warrants and fail to Identify Fugitive from Justice.

In June of 2010, Valverde was charged for possession of marijuana greater than four ounces and less than, or equal to 5 pounds.

Dec. 31, 2016

Tristian Prather, 21, was arrested for possession of less than one gram of meth after police were dispatched to the 300 block of W. Avenue S for reports of an unwanted subject. Prather was also charged with evading arrest detention and outstanding warrants. These charges include theft of property valued from $100 to $750.   

Jan. 5, 2017

Ashely Nelson, 33, was arrested for possession of meth and marijuana less than or equal to one gram, but less than four grams. This took place during a traffic stop at Avenue L and Grierson.  

Jan. 7, 2017

Amanda Burney, 30, was arrested for possession of greater than or equal to one gram, but less than four grams and driving without a license. The arrest took place in the 2300 block of Holcomb Street.

Burney has a colorful record of warrants ranging from bail jumping, theft of stolen property, and one count of kidnapping.
