San Angelo Hosts Two Christmas Tree Recycling Centers

SAN ANGELO, TX – This holiday season, the City of San Angelo will be offering recycling for safe and proper disposal of Christmas trees to keep the holidays environmentally conscious.

The SAFE Recycling Center, located at 702 Warehouse Road, and the Foster Communications Coliseum will be offering residents two convenient locations to drop off their non-artificial Christmas trees.

From Dec. 26 to Jan. 7, people can drop off trees inside the specified barricaded areas at both locations. Please ensure all decorations and lights are removed before disposal.

Tress will be processed through a chipper, and free mulch will be available for free at the City’s landfill, 3002 Old Ballinger Highway.
