SAN ANGELO, TX - Flu season is ahead, and a press release from Shannon Mobile Care announced flu shots will be available for the public on Saturday, October 15, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Sunset Mall, 4001 Sunset Dr. The Mobile Care unit will be set up off of Sunset in the parking lot.
The standard vaccination is $25, and a high-dose is $64. Medicare, Medicaid and insurance are accepted.
Patients may also schedule an appointment with their primary care provider to receive their flu shot. On Oct. 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Shannon Clinic Pediatrics, 225 E. Beauregard, will be hosting a walk-in flu shot clinic as well.
Flu shots are recommended for children six months and older.
