A press release from Angelo State University announced that the university is accepting entries from public organizations, bands and other groups to participate in the 2016 ASU Homecoming Parade. The parade will be held in downtown San Angelo and begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8.
The theme for the 2016 Homecoming is “Roscoe’s Top 100”. The press release stated that “groups are encouraged to pick their favorite artist or genre of music.”

Parade check-in will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Oct. 8 at the Shannon Clinic parking lot on the corner of Oaks Street and Beauregard Ave.
The press release also said “the parade is sponsored by the ASU Homecoming Committee and the Downtown San Angelo Association.”
