Passport Day at ASU's Center for International Studies

SAN ANGELO, TX – Are you planning to travel during the upcoming holidays and still need a passport or a passport card? Angelo State University’s Center for International Studies is hosting a Passport Day this Saturday, September 24, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Center for International Studies is located in the East Office Annex of 1825 S. Johnson Street. According to the ASU News Release earlier today, interested applicants will receive all the services that are usually provided at the U.S Post Office. This includes photos, applications, processing and renewals.

The application process is simple. Applicants must pay the following fees: “$110 to the U.S. Department of State, $25 to ASU and $10 for a passport photo, if a photo is needed.” The fees need to be “paid by cash, check, money order or credit card, except the State Department fee, which must be a check or money order.” If you are only interested in obtaining a passport card, the fee is $30.

All applicants must provide a certified copy of their birth certificate, official government-issued photo ID and one color passport-sized photo. For more information on the fees and the application process for a passport and/or passport card, please visit the Department of State’s website here.
