San Angelo Trash Forum Rescheduled

SAN ANGELO, TX - Tonight's public forum on possible changes to trash service has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 20.

According to a city press release, the forum will start at 6 p.m. in the City Council chambers at the McNease Convention Center, 501 Rio Concho Drive. A scheduling conflict forced the change in dates.

"The City continues to gather input via an online survey at cosatx.us/trashsurvey," said the release. "The survey will be available through Sept. 15. Paper copies of the survey were sent in recent water bills. They are also available in the lobby of City Hall, 72 W. College Ave."

The City Council in June considered a move to monthly bulk pickup and pickup of recyclables every other week. The Council voiced support for the move, but wanted more public opinion on other possible changes to trash service that might be incorporated at the same time, said the release.
