How This Chevy Avalanche Ended Up in the Shell Gas Station Sign

A white Toyota Camry was heading south on S. Abe while passing through a green light at Harris Blvd., according to two eyewitnesses at the crash scene.

A black Avalanche was heading west on Harris and ran the red light just as the Toyota was passing through the intersection southbound.

San Angelo police said there was one occupant in each vehicle and both went to Shannon with minor injuries.

The officer said the black Avalanche will get a citation for disregarding a red light. The accident is still under investigation.

Traffic was diverted around the crash scene, but as of 10:30 a.m. the intersection was clear. The crash happened just before 10 a.m. this morning.
