San Angelo ISD Announces Pre-K Roundup

A press release from San Angelo ISD  announced today its Pre-Kindergarten registration and requirements. Registration will be August 2 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Administration Building, 1621 University Ave.

For Pre-K enrollment, the child must be four years old by September 1, 2016. The child must also meet (one) of the following requirements:

• Unable to speak and comprehend the English language
• Homeless
• Foster Child
• Meet federal income guidelines
• Military eligibility
• Is or ever has been in the conservatorship of the Department of Family & Protective Services following an adversary hearing held as provided by Section 262.201 of Family Code

To register a child for Pre-K, these items will need to be brought to the registration:

• Official birth certificate                                         
• Social Security card                              
• DOD Identification (Military)
• Updated immunization record
•  Proof of address (electric, water, or gas bill)
• Verification of current income for July & August
• SNAP #
• TANF #
