Power Outage Affects Traffic Lights in San Angelo

A power outage is affecting the traffic lights along Sherwood Way and Houston Harte. As a result, SAPD officials are requesting drivers to use caution when approaching major intersections.

Unofficial sources have warned San Angelo LIVE! that the city is having a rolling blackout. The source claims that everything should be back on line when it starts “cooling off.”

According to a Nixle alert, the following intersections have been reported to be without power at this time:

  • Pecos/Sherwood Way
  • College Hills/ Avenue N
  • Sherwood Way / Avenue N
  • Glenna/ Houston Harte
  • Arden Rd/ Glenna
